We crown more than beauty. MBGMOD gives the young women of Mushin and Odi-Olowo a stage to carry their streets with pride, and a scholarship, a platform and a project to change them.
Beauty beyond borders.
Born in the heart of Lagos, MBGMOD is a pageant with a purpose. Every contestant represents her street. Every crown pays for a scholarship, a wardrobe and a community project.

Our approach
“I am proud of the community where I come from. Most battles I have fought in life have made me a better person, and I am giving back to the community that shaped me.”
Remi Abdul · Founder, MBGMOD
Too many children in our community miss school because of cost, and too often it is the girl child who is left out. MBGMOD exists to change that.
Every edition funds education scholarships and community projects, and gives young women from Mushin and Odi-Olowo a platform to lead.
